SANYO Fisher Company launched a new 16:9 multimedia LCD
projector, named PLV-WF10. This new projector is available
through SANYO's national network of professional audiovisual
dealers.
PLV-WF10 has the pixels of 1366 x 768 and is equipped with
the technology of 4000 ANSI Lumens, which is obtained from
a pair of 250-watt UHP lamps. The projector initially starts
with the help of embedded 10-bit motion adaptive de-interlace
image processing circuits. The 1080i signals are converted
into progressive signals to double the resolution of images
from DVD playback. The 900:1 contrast ratio utilizing the
micro lens technology increases the light efficiency.
Other than these features, the projector also includes the
second-generation pipelined parallel processor to sharpen
the images with a single pass noise- reduction process. Selecting
the pre determined modes of colour and gamma processing and
the users can regulate the colour of the projector. This built-in
tool also allows the users to create a custom gamma and color
correction table.
To connect the projector in a networking environment, an
optical network board is provided which allows the control
and management via a CAT5 network connection. The board can
memorize and store data up to 55 PC modes and can also be
used in parallel with RS-232 controllers. Besides this the
Sanyo LCD projector is also equipped with a quick-change lens
capability.
It is priced $12,995.00 and comes with a three-year parts
and labor and a 90-day original lamp warranty.
