ViewSonic today debuted four new LCD graphics displays for
graphics users—the VG500, VG700, VG750 and VG800. Ranging
in size from 15 inches to 18 inches, the LCD graphics displays
bring added performance, affordable prices and the latest
trend in style to corporate, SOHO, gaming and government users.
"Until recently, graphic users relied heavily on CRT
monitors for the highest quality images. ViewSonic is providing
new LCD graphics displays options by extending the performance
of LCDs to meet the specific requirements of designers, gamers
and Internet users," said Seth Ngin, product manger,
ViewSonic Corporation."
Enabling the best video images possible, the VG500, VG700,
VG750 and VG800 LCD graphics displays provide resolutions
up to 1280 x 1024 with contrast ratios of up to 600:1, high
brightness of up to 260 nits and horizontal and vertical viewing
angles of up to 160 degrees. The VG750 and VG800 also offer
response time that is three times faster than conventional
LCDs to produce smear-free images. To ensure sharp focus,
crisp and precise images, the displays offer user controlled
OSD and power lock functions which, when activated, prevent
changes to monitor settings to maintain the optimal picture
quality. In addition, the LCD graphics displays offer features
to enhance style and multimedia experiences such as two-tone
metallic-on-black design to complement any decor, bezel-integrated
speakers and wall mount options.
The VG LCD graphics displays Series is on display at TechXNY/PC
Expo from June 25-27, 2002, at the ViewSonic booth—3422—and
is available through authorized ViewSonic resellers, distributors
and mail order. The VG500 and VG800 are available now with
estimated street prices after rebate of $469 and $879, respectively.
The VG700 and VG750 will be available in July and August with
estimated street prices of $749 and $789 respectively after
mail-in rebate.
All LCD graphics display monitors are backed by a three-year
limited warranty on parts, labor and backlight, and are eligible
for ViewSonic’s optional Express Exchange® program,
which guarantees a replacement monitor within 48 hours where
service is available. ViewSonic offers 24-hour, toll-free
technical support, seven days a week.
