CRT displays: Enhancing its award-winning line of desktop
displays, ViewSonic® Corp., a worldwide Visual Technologies™
leader, introduces its UltraBrite™ high-brightness CRT
displays. The G71f+SB, E70f+SB, E90f+SB, A70f+ and A90f+ are
designed for users seeking optimal viewing of graphics, games,
video and TV (including HDTV), in addition to traditional
computer applications. ViewSonic’s new displays optimize
color hue, saturation and intensity for Internet, gaming,
presentation graphics and video applications by allowing users
to increase brightness by three to five times that of traditional
CRTs.
These UltraBrite CRT displays also offer enhanced features
including a dedicated toggle button for brightness level selection,
one-touch auto image adjustment, ViewSonic’s exclusive
PerfectFlat technology and a sleek metallic-silver-on-black
design. When coupled with ViewSonic’s NextVisionTM N6
video processor, all of the new monitors can display content
from an HDTV source.

Offering up to 500 nits of brightness and a maximum resolution
of 1280x1024, the G71f+SB is designed with a FD Trinitron
CRT for outstanding video, gaming and graphics performance.
Through ViewSonic’s PerfectFlat screen and UltraBrite
technologies, this 17-inch (16.0 inch viewable) CRT displays
offer bright, clear images with optimal color performance.
Also available in an all-black design (G71f+B), the G71f+
is currently shipping through authorized ViewSonic resellers,
distributors and mail order catalogs at an estimated street
price (ESP) of $199.
Featuring 300 nits of brightness and an ultra-fine horizontal
dot pitch of 0.21mm the E90f+SB, E70f+SB, A70f+ and A90f+
provide vivid, crisp images for gaming, photo, video and TV
applications to education, small office/home office and consumer
users.
